Though he is labelled as a talented director who delivers content according to the sensibilities of Telugu nativity, his films couldn’t set the cash registers ringing as expected.
After his third film tanked heavily and left no trace at box office, there has been a lot of pressure on him to deliver the much needed hit with his fourth film. He penned a romantic drama and roped in a talented pair. He took nearly one year to wrap up the shooting formalities and the budget overshot by the time of completion. Close sources to the director revealed that the stress took a toll on his health condition and just before the film’s release he was hospitalised.
Meanwhile, the film released to mixed reports from audience and took an average opening. As per trade analysis, the director might need to wait further to score a hit.
