Sunil, who has been a very successful comedian, has been turning down comedian roles from last few years. Though his career as a lead actor has been topsy-turvy, he still wants to stick only to lead roles. Due to this adamant nature, he has lost a lifetime opportunity to act with his matinee idol. For Megastar’s 150th movie ‘Katthilantodu’ it was reported that the team approached Sunil if he can play the side kick role for Megastar, continuing the successful Tagore combination. As per reports from the production team, Sunil turned down the role citing that he wants to stick to hero roles.
This role has been then offered to ‘Vennela Kishore’ who grabbed it with both hands open. This is turning as blessing in disguise for Vennela Kishore. For a number of roles that be did in the past, Sunil was the first choice and since he refused, Vennela Kishore ended up taking those up. One feels that Sunil should have taken this opportunity as it gives him a lifetime opportunity to act in Megastar’s 150th movie and continue their successful combination.
