Amid rumours of shifting party loyalties, Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan met with CM Chandrababu Naidu and discussed about his problems in the constituency. He has been facing lot of issues with other groups in the segment. Naidu has promised to resolve the problems following which the MLA has softened his tough stance for the time being. But still there is no word from the MLA whether he will continue in the party or not.
After the meeting with CM, Krishna Mohan said he has just got a promise from the CM but his continuation would create problems for the rival groups in the party there. It would be better to leave the party before there are greater troubles. The MLA said he would take a final decision after discussing the issues with his followers in the segment.
In 2014, Krishna Mohan won the election from Chirala as an independent and later joined the TDP. Though there are many differences with local long-time party leaders, he continued in the party in the interests of the constituency development. Now he says he has never asked the CM for contracts or any such personal benefits. He has informed Naidu about how he is not able to adjust in the internal party group dynamics. Groupism is bound to intensify if Krishna Mohan gets TDP ticket next time.
