Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dream project Syeraa released during Dasara season and it raked massive revenues all over. The film’s theatrical rights are picked up for massive prices. UV Creations acquired the theatrical rights of Nizam for a record price of Rs 30 crores and released the film through Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. Syeraa ended up collecting Rs 32.10 crores in its final run in Nizam and ended up as the third highest grosser of the territory.
Syeraa stood next to Baahubali: The Conclusion and Baahubali: The Beginning in Nizam which is a rare feat. Syeraa is the only non-Baahubali film to cross Rs 30 crore mark in Nizam. Surendar Reddy directed Syeraa and the film’s theatrical run came to an end all over. Konidela Production Company bankrolled Syeraa and Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu essayed other pivotal roles.
