Yesterday, we have reported that the release of Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil has been pushed ahead from October 22nd due to the delay in the graphic works. As per the latest information from close sources to the team, the makers are now planning to release the film on November 11th.

Akkineni Nagarjuna will address a press meet today afternoon and he is likely to announce the release date. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film has Sayyesha Saigal as the female lead. The audio composed by Anup Rubens and SS Thaman has been getting a good response among the audience.

Actor Nithiin is producing the film on Sreshth Movies banner.

Interesting Tamil title for Akhil

Popular producer C.Kalyan has bagged the Tamil rights of Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil. He is planning a huge promotional event in Chennai which will be graced by Rajinikanth to introduce Akhil to the Tamil audience.

The film has been titled as ‘Surya Kavacham’ in Tamil. It is well known that the story of the film revolves around an African tribal group where they worship sun and call it as Jua. The tagline of the film, ‘Power of Jua’, is also named after this point. Unlike the Telugu title, which is simple and soft, the Tamil title has some intensity behind it.

VV Vinayak is the director for this much anticipated film and Sayyesha Saigal is the heroine. Actor Nithiin is producing the film. SS Thaman and Anup Rubens scored the soundtrack. The film will hit the screens on October 22nd.

Akhil last song shoot from today

Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil is fast finishing its post production formalities to have a grand release on October 22nd. The last song shoot will commence from today in Annapurna 7 Acres Studios. Special set has been erected for the song shoot. With this the entire shooting will be wrapped up. It is also heard that Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna will appear for a few seconds in this song.

VV Vinayak is the director for this much awaited film. Sayyesha Saigal is making her debut as the female lead. Actor Nithiin is bankrolling the film on Sreshth Movies banner. The audio, composed by Thaman and Anup Rubens, was unveiled last month. Akhil already started to promote the film all over. He participated in a three day promotional campaign in US.

‘Akhil’ release date confirmed by Nithiin

Akhil is the debut film of Akkineni Akhil in the direction of VV Vinayak which has Sayyesha Saigal as the female lead. The film’s shoot is in nearing completion and the unit is currently busy shooting for a romantic song in Austria. The entire shooting part will be wrapped up in a few more days and the audio launch event will be held on September 20th.

Through an official press note, Nithin has confirmed that the film will hit the screens on October 22nd as a Dusheera treat for the audience. He added that the response for the trailer has been overwhelming and the YouTube hits for the electrifying trailer have crossed the 1 million mark in no time. Nithin’s home banner Sreshth Movies is producing the film.

Veligonda Srinivas has penned a solid script for the film. Happening music composers Anup Rubens and SS Thaman have scored the tunes.
