OS Promotions – Akhil gets it right

0

Overseas market is turning out to be a decisive factor in deciding the box office fate of Telugu films. This is the reason why many of our stars are choosing scripts that equally cater the likes of both domestic and overseas audience. Moreover, our stars are also concentrating on promoting their films in overseas.

We have already seen many occasions in the past when some of our star heroes went to US to woo audience as a part promotions. Unfortunately, almost all stars didn’t get the strategy right when it comes to planning their overseas tours . Many stars went to US one week or two weeks after the film released there. This strategy just proved costly for the producer and hardly helped the film’s collections. This is because it is too late to promote a film after one or two weeks of its release as films run for a maximum of two to three weeks in overseas.

Now, Akkineni Akhil has got it right with sensible planning. As reported earlier, he will embark on a three day tour to US along with Rana Daggubati and Anup Rubens to interact with audience there prior to the release of his upcoming film Hello. This tour, which is going to start one week before release, will definitely increase the buzz on the film among overseas audience and will result in good openings irrespective of the talk it garners from the premiers.

So, after many stars got it wrong with their strategy of promotions in overseas, Akhil is doing it the right way which is likely to benefit his film big time.

Hello is slated to hit the screens on December 22nd.
