I-PAC enrolling bogus votes under Jagan directions, says Rama Naidu

0

Senior TDP leader and MLA, Nimmala Rama Naidu, said here on Wednesday that bogus votes are being enrolled by the I-PAC only under the directions from Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Rama Naidu told media persons that the ruling YSRCP leaders are resorting to unwanted criticism against the TDP as they could not digest the tremendous response to the Bhavishaythuku Guarantee scheme announced by former chief minister and TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The I-PAC has hatched the conspiracy of enrolment of bogus votes only under Jagan’s directions, he added.

Rama Naidua asked as to why the YSRCP leaders are feeling insecure when the announcement has been made that the coming government to be formed by the TDP-Jana Sena combine will implement the welfare schemes for all sections of society. Jagan and the advisor to Government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, have been uttering all falsehoods as they are unable to digest the massive response to the ‘Babu Surety Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’ programme.

The TDP MLA felt that the personal details of the people are being collected by the volunteers through the Field Operating Agency which is being forwarded to Ram Infotech. A whopping Rs 270 cr is being spent for this purpose, he said and added that it is the YSRCP that is illegally collecting the personal details of the people but is shamelessly passing the blame onto the TDP.

He asked as to why Jagan and Sajjala are feeling insecure when the TDP is explaining to the people how the Bhavishaythuku Guarantee scheme, to be implemented as soon as the TDP-Jana Sena government is formed, will be beneficial to them. Pointing out that though Jagan has promised to pay Rs 13,500 to each farmer every year under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, he said that the ground reality is that only Rs 7,500 is being given to them per annum.

Rama Naidu said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government has raised Rs 35,000 cr loan by mortgaging the revenue to be generated through liquor income. Jagan who could not fulfil the promises made to the people has no right to talk about the Bhavishaythuku Guarantee scheme, he felt.

The TDP MLA said that only 15 percent of the YSRCP manifesto has been implemented and the people are eagerly waiting to send Jagan home. What happened to the special category status to the State, job calendar and allocation of Rs 2 cr per annum for the Kapu corporation, Rama Naiidu asked.

People’s confidential info is with I-PAC, says TDP

0

Observing that the complete information of the people of the State which is confidential is now in the hands of the I-PAC, TDP official spokesperson, Nelayapalem Vijay Kumar, said on Monday that this information is being misused by the I-PAC which is working for the interests of the ruling YSRCP.

The highly confidential information of the people is being misused by the I-PAC for the interests of the ruling party, Vijay Kumar told media persons here. Maintaining that collecting the personal details of any individual is totally illegal and unlawful, Vijay Kumar said that under the directions of the I-PAC, the votes of the other parties are being deleted by the volunteers.

When the Block Level Officials (BLOs) are on inspection for checking votes, volunteers accompanying them is nothing but a conspiracy by the ruling party, he felt. Vijaya Kumar demanded an immediate reply from the State Government on how the information gathered through the volunteers is being utilised.

There is no response till now from the ruling dispensation though the TDP had earlier made it clear that the information collected from the people by the volunteers is going into the hands of private persons, Vijaya Kumar pointed out. The I-PAC is totally monitoring the entire volunteer system in the State, he said.

Stating that the State Government is claiming that Rs 400 cr has been paid to the Field Operations Agency (FOA) for maintaining the volunteer’s system, the TDP spokesperson said that FAO is an organisation being combinedly maintained by Ram Info Limited, Unicon Solutions of Kasireddy Raji Reddy, Upadi Techno Services Pvt Ltd and the Citizens Alliance. FAO is a notional agency, and the I-PAC is only a part of it, he mentioned.

Three persons, Anurag Reddy, Bolla Jayesh Rao and Yeddula Poorna Durga Rao are looking over the operations of FOA, Vijaya Kumar revealed that all these three persons, in their capacity as directors, periodically brief Kasireddy Raji Reddy on the details of its operations. Jayesh Rao was the incharge of campaign in 2019 polls for the YSRCP, he pointed out and said that he has set up the Ram Info under the directions from I-PAC.

FOA is nothing but part of I-PAC, he said, adding that this organisation is closely monitoring the movement of everyone in the State and is gathering their personal details. Vijaya Kumar said that the YSRCP with the help of the I-PAC is stealing the information of the people and thus threatening the public to come their way.

Prashant Kishor, I-PAC basking in glory of YSRCP victory

Political strategist Prashant Kishor and the I-PAC of which he is a mentor is basking in the glory of YSR Congress Party’s landslide victory in the Andhra Pradesh elections.

As the YSRCP stormed to power with 151 seats in 175-member Assembly, the India-Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is celebrating its best-ever achievement.

Working with the YSRCP was a commitment Prashant Kishor had given before taking a plunge into politics late last year and as mentor and advisor of I-PAC, he ensured successful execution of the strategy.

As the results were pouring in from across Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, he was with YSRCP leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter’s residence in Amaravati, watching the outcome.

Prashant Kishor later tweeted to thank Andhra’s voters and colleagues at I-PAC and congratulated new CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

A great admirer of Jagan Reddy’s father and late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, he had told the YSRCP leader once that he would be happy to help the party.

They started working in 2017 with the political strategist personally holding a series of strategy sessions with Jagan Reddy and other senior party leaders.

This was followed by the I-PAC team launching a series of campaigns for the party to strengthen the organisation and train party workers. In a period spanning 709 days, I-PAC managed 35 campaigns including 18 online.

“The political consulting firm was instrumental in setting the strategy for the party and creating the narrative which eventually led to the victory of the YSRCP,” said I-PAC.

“This was the longest campaign I-PAC has ever done and the best results it got in any campaign in terms of seats,” said Asbah Farooqui, head, national media, I-PAC.

Under this strategy, the party reached out to people and established a direct connection with voters. Jagan Reddy’s 14-month-long ‘padayatra’ was part of this effort.

The YSRCP managed to reach over 4.8 crore people in one crore households at least once in the last two years.

The I-PAC also helped the YSRCP digitally dominate over other parties by designing innovative campaigns involving thousands of youth. It also created the campaign song ‘Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan’, which registered 2.2 crore views.

With 400 people working on the ground in the state, it came out with interesting campaigns such as ‘Ninnu Nammam Babu’ (We don’t trust you Babu) and ‘Bye Bye Babu’ targeting Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

With the massive victory of the YSRCP, Prashant Kishor and I-PAC achieved their goal but sources close to him said he will not pick up a campaign for any other party. He, however, will continue to mentor and guide the I-PAC, which has 400 plus strong team.

The I-PAC is currently working with Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. It worked on the party’s campaign in just-concluded Lok Sabha elections and will continue to work till Assembly elections scheduled later this year.

Before joining Janata Dal-United in September last year, Prashant Kishor had declared that he would not campaign for anyone but completed the assignment with the YSRCP as he had made the commitment to Jagan Reddy earlier.

Currently, JD-U Vice President, Prashant Kishore formulated the election strategy for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 elections. He subsequently ran successful campaigns for JD-U in 2015 Bihar elections and for Congress in 2017 Punjab polls.
