Another Rs. 10 lakh reward was announced on the head of N Keshava Rao who is going to be successor for Ganapathy.

Hailing from Karimnagar district in Telangana state, Ganapathy was born into a Telugu family. He had passed graduation and worked for some time as a teacher. Ganapathy has been active as a Maoist leader for over three decades, starting his activities from the beginnings of erstwhile People’s War Group, which was later merged with CPI Maoists, an organisation banned for its involvement in violence and acts of rebellion against the state.

The Maoist leaders topped the most wanted list which next named several persons involved in terrorism cases.
