    Maverick producer Dil Raju already scored five blockbusters this year and is all set for his sixth release this year with Nani’s Middle Class Abbayi (MCA). Sriram Venu is directing the movie which has been initially announced for December 21st release. However with the request of Nagarjuna for Akhil’s Hello, MCA has been preponed by a week and has been announced for December 15th release.

    Star Wars: The Last Jedi is hitting the screens on December 15th and will have a huge occupancy in USA. MCA will not get a comfortable release and Nani has a huge fan base across the circles of USA. Hence Dil Raju is puzzled about the release date and is holding talks with the distributors of USA about the release date. The movie may hit the screens on December 14th or will release on December 21st as planned earlier. An official announcement is awaited.

    Natural star Nani is one of the busiest actors in Tollywood at present. He is juggling between the shootings of MCA and Krishnarjuna Yuddham which are in different stages of production.

    While MCA is slated to hit the screens towards the end of this year, the latest we hear is that the makers of Krishnarjuna Yuddham are in plans to release the film in the mid February next year. The exact release date will be announced very soon. So, Nani will have two releases in the span of two months.

    Krishnarjuna Yuddham , which has Nani playing a dual role for the first time in his career, is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi of Express Raja fame. Happening beauty Anupama Parameshwaran is the leading lady. The film will have its music score by Hip hop Tamizha.

    It is now learnt that Nani has green-lit another project and this time he will team up with his mentor and legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. Nani worked as an assistant to Mani Ratnam in the direction department in the beginning of his career. The duo were supposed to come together last year, but unfortunately the project was dropped in the initial stages.

    Sources say that Nani has okayed the script narrated by Mani Ratnam and the film is likely to go on floors once he wraps up his current commitments. An official confirmation in this regard is yet to be out.

    Nani to play army officer in next film

    Actor Nani, who has had a phenomenal year so far with two back-to-back blockbusters “Nenu Local” and “Ninnu Kori”, will be seen playing an army officer in his next yet-untitled Telugu project with director Hanu Raghavapudi.

    “Nani plays an army guy. That’s all I can say at the moment as it’s too early to even talk about the film. We will predominantly shoot in Ladakh and we plan to go on the floors (with the movie) later this year,” Raghavapudi told IANS.

    The actor and director had previously worked together in last year’s Telugu romantic drama “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha”.

    The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

    On the career front, Nani is currently shooting for Telugu comedy “MCA”.

    Actress Bhumika is playing a crucial role which carries the film’s narrative forward. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
