    NGK has ended up it’s run in the Telugu States with a distributor share of 4.5 Cr. Theatrical rights of the film are valued for 9cr which tallies to a loss of 50 per cent. Suriya’s market is decreasing off-late with revenues coming down from film to film. 24 was a decent success with a 15cr share in Telugu states followed by Yamudu 3 which collected 10cr share and ended up as a disaster. It was followed by Gang which is an average venture with 7cr share and now NGK has ended up with disaster with less than 5cr share. It is clearly evident that the revenues are coming down from film to film.

    NGK has a poor weekend in Telugu States as the film has collected a distributor share of 3.4 Cr. Theatrical rights of the film are valued for 9 cr which means a recovery of 35 percent so far. The film which opened good in AP has dropped over the weekend while the film which opened to average numbers in Nizam has got worse over the weekend. It will see huge drop from today and will end up as a disaster.

    Suriya’s NGK struggling for Buzz

    Super talented actor Suriya is all set to thrill his fans with his next outing NGK. This political drama is directed by Selvaraghavan. The trailer of this political and mass entertainer received a decent response but it could not trigger the needed buzz. Too much Tamil flavour did not go well with the Tollywood audience and the film may not open on a high note across Telugu states. Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh are the female leads in NGK.

    Veteran producer KK Radhamohan acquired the Telugu theatrical rights for Rs 9 crores and the film will get a decent screen count. Also, a bunch of releases like Falaknuma Das, Abhinetri 2 and others will surely have an impact on NGK. Suriya’s recent movies too did not do well at the Tollywood box-office which is a worrying factor. We will have to wait to see how will NGK fare across Telugu states. The film produced by Dream Warrior Pictures is hitting the screens tomorrow. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer.

    Talented Tamil actor Suriya teamed up with versatile director Selvaraghavan for an interesting film. The movie has been launched in January and it started rolling during the same month. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi are the female leads and the makers unveiled the first look of Suriya from the movie which has been titled NGK. Suriya’s rustic look with beard will make your day and it looks completely different.

    On the occasion of Selvaraghavan’s birthday, the first look has been released. Dream Warrior Pictures along with Reliance Entertainments are producing this big budget entertainer and Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the tunes. NGK has been slated for Diwali release this year.
