Kalyan Ram keen on a Malayalam Political Drama

Nandamuri Kalyanram took a small break after which he signed back to back films. He is shooting for his next film MLA which is directed by a debutant Upendra Madhav. The film will have a political touch and Kajal Agarwal is the female lead. The latest news we hear is that the actor is keen on a Malayalam political drama named Ramaleela which featured Dileep in the lead role. Impressed with the film, he is in talks with the makers to acquire the rights and remake it in Telugu.

The actor’s close friends and well-wishers too have been impressed with the film after watching it in a special screening. An official announcement about the cast and crew will be made once things are final. Made on a small budget, Ramaleela raked Rs 50 crores in its final run all over. Kalyan Ram is even shooting for one more film in the direction of Jayendra. Tamannaah is the female lead and PC Sreeram is the cinematographer. Both the films of Kalyan Ram will hit the screens next year.
