TTV Dhinakaran new political party

It seems this is the time of new parties in Tamil Nadu. Recently Rajnikanth floated new political party and it is yet to be named. TTV Dhinakaran now announced that he will soon take decision on floating a new political party. Dhinakaran, who is also RK Nagar MLA now said that a decision on floating a new political party will be taken on tomorrow, i.e. January 17 which is the birth anniversary of AIADMK founder and late Tamil Nadu chief minister M G Ramachandran.

Dhinakaran also said he had already discussed the proposal of new party with Sasikala, AIADMK general secretary. Though he said he would take all necessary steps to form a new political party, he immediately added a twist saying, his focus would be to retrieve the AIADMK party and the two leaves symbol first. “Our main contention is that the party and symbol are with the wrong people. The Election Commission of India awarded the party and symbol to the wrong people based on the support of MLAs and MPs. The party must be given to the faction who has the overwhelming support of the cadres. RK Nagar bypoll results proved which faction has the support of 90% cadres. RK voters reflected the sentiments of Tamil Nadu people and party cadre,” he said.

He also expressed that Tamil Nadu government would fall in two or three months and he added he would bring back Amma’s rule in the state. We will have to wait and see how he is going to play the cards in Tamil politics, given the fact that he had enormous money and wealth and also the courage.
