NTR and Vinaya Vidheya Rama gets boost from AP Government
Sankranthi season is heading and all the biggies are gearing up for wide release. NTR, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 are the Telugu biggies that will clash at the box-office during the season. NTR and Vinaya Vidheya Rama makers applied for special shows during this season and the AP Government gave a positive nod.
NTR – Kathanayakudu has been granted permission for two extra shows per day from January 9th to 16th between 5 AM and 11 AM. Vinaya Vidheya Rama is granted permission for two extra shows from January 11th to 19th between 5 AM and 11 AM. Both the films have been carrying massive buzz and are expected to open with a bang.
Rs 12 Cr for an Action Episode in Vinaya Vidheya Rama
Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Charan are teaming up for a high voltage action entertainer Vinaya Vidheya Rama that is hitting the screens this Sankranthi. Boyapati Sreenu owns a different style in presenting the action episodes in his films. A high voltage action episode has been canned in Azerbaijan for this film. The makers are said to have spent Rs 12 crores for this action episode which is the major highlight of Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
Some Russian fighters have been imported for the action stunt and they are paid massive amounts for this stunt. Ram Charan’s looks and visuals from the action episode are already making enough noise all over. Vinaya Vidheya Rama is the costliest film made in the careers of Charan, Boyapati and the pre-release business has been exceptional. The film is carrying huge expectations and is hitting the screens on January 11th.
Ramcharan reponds on political entry comments
It is known news that KTR, who was the chief guest at the pre release function of Vinayak Vidheya Rama movie, commented about Ram Charan possibly entering politics in future. When asked about KTR comments, Ram Charan made interesting comments.
Ram Charan has been promoting his upcoming movie Vinaya Vidheya Rama in TV channels and in one of the interviews he was asked to respond on KTR comments. Ram Charan told that KTR appreciated his oratory skills in that function. But, he added, in Tollywood there are many actors who have very good oratory skills but having good oratory skills is not sufficient to enter into political arena. Ram Charan told that, being in politics is responsible position and it needs lot of knowledge and dedication. So, he concluded, there is no chance of him entering into politics in near future.
Ram Charan Vinaya Vidheya Rama is all set to release this pongal and already censored with U/A certificate.
Ram Charan about his stunning transformation
Ram Charan’s muscular appearance in the posters and trailers of Vinaya Vidheya Rama is now the talking point among movie lovers. His phenomenal transformation from lean physique to a ripped avatar is a result of intensive workout and strict diet regime.
Speaking about the makeover, Charan gave credit to Boyapati Srinu for pushing his limits to transform into a muscled look. Charan revealed that he worked very hard and spent hours in gym to get into the desired shape. It was a busy two month session for Charan and he braved extreme weather conditions in Azerbaijan while shooting for the crucial action episodes in the film.
Charan said his workout included cardio, lifting of heavy weights and a planned diet plan guided by his wife. It usually takes six months to develop a muscular body, but Charan’s dedication has helped him to transform in just two months after rigorous exercises.

1. NTR Kathanayakudu(Jan 8th Premiers) : The film has to collect 8 Cr Share from USA market for the distributor to break-even. Taking 55 percent of gross to share it has to collect atleast 2.1 Million gross to enter into safe zone.
2. Vinaya Vidheya Rama(Jan 10th Premiers): The film has to collect 7 Cr Share from USA market for the distributor to break-even. Taking 55 percent of gross to share it has to collect 1.8-1.85 Million gross to enter into safe zone.
3. F2(Jan 11th Premiers): The film has to collect 3.80 Cr Share from USA market for the distributor to break-even. Taking 50 percent of gross to share it has to collect 1.05-1.1 Million gross to enter into safe zone.
Kollywood Films
1. Petta(Jan 9th Premiers): We have already reported the USA box-office breakeven for this film. The film has to do 2.5-2.6 Million gross to enter into safe zone.
2. Viswasam(Jan 9th Premiers): The film has to collect 1.25-1.30 Cr share including expenses for the distributor to breakeven. Considering 45 percent of gross to share it has to collect atleast 0.4 Million gross to enter into safe zone.
Charan and Kiara promote VVR in Rana’s show
Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is gearing up for grand release during this Sankranthi. Kiara Advani is the leading lady in this Boyapati Srinu directional.
The promotions for VVR are in full swing and the lead pair is busy with web and media interactions. They have attended Rana’s popular show No 1 Yaari which is on the verge of completing it’s second season. This crazy episode was shot yesterday and Rana is quite thrilled to have VVR pair in the show. It will be telecast during Sankranthi. This is the final episode of season 2 and is expected to grab good TRP rating as the show is a big hit among audience.

Exhibitors Opt For Vinaya Vidheya Rama – Gets Good Amount Of Hires In Karnataka
Vinaya Vidheya Rama is carrying good craze among exhibitors as they are opting to screen this film among all the Sankranthi Releases. Brunda Associates has bought the entire Karnataka rights of the film and they have further sold the film to sub distributors excluding Bangalore city . The film has fetched 3 Cr in form of hires(No profit sharing with the main distributor again) from these sub distributors. This is second highest price in recent times behind Agnyaathavaasi which was sold for 3.30 Cr in the same areas. The situation is same in Telugu States with most of the single theatre centres opting for Vinaya Vidheya Rama unless the theatres are under lease by the other Sankranthi release distributors.

Worldwide theatrical of the film including expenses are valued for over 94 Crores. Ramcharan’s last film Rangasthalam has collected a huge 120 cr distributor share but this film is releasing with two others film for this Sankranthi.

Is DSP’s music losing sheen ?
Devi Sri Prasad is one of the most reliable composers in Tollywood. He is known for coming up with chartbuster songs in all his albums and he rarely fails to meet the expectations of music lovers. He is also the most preferred music director by all star directors and heroes in the current generation. However, in recent times, his music has lost sheen as his tunes are turning out to be monotonous and run-of-the-mill.
Last year, DSP delivered a smashing album with Rangasthalam as every song turned out to be a chartbuster. Apart from Rangasthalam, all his other albums in 2018 received only a lukewarm response from audience. His latest two albums Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 also failed to make any impact due to the mundane and repetitive tunes. The mediocre albums couldn’t create any buzz on the films.
Meanwhile, top directors like Trivikram, who previously associated with DSP for numerous films, are now opting to work with other in-form composers like SS Thaman. As of now, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is the only big ticket film in hand for DSP. He needs to comeback very strongly with Maharshi album to maintain his top slot among composers.

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Vinaya Vidheya Rama is tipped to be an action drama dosed with family emotions. Like his previous films, director Boyapati Srinu ensured that there is a family song in this film and composer Devi Sri Prasad made sure that this particular song is the stand out number in the album.
The video promo of this family song Thandane Thandane has been unveiled today and it glimpses that a visual treat is in the offing for family audience. The visuals are quite promising and Ram Charan’s traditional avatar is surely going to thrill his fans. With only ten days left, the publicity team of VVR are unveiling stunning posters to double up the hype in audience. The promotional campaign is a right mix aimed at capturing attention of both family and mass audience. After giving a mass treat with ‘Rambo’ like badass poster of Ram Charan, team VVR released a family poster in festive mood on the eve of New Year.
Continuing the treat, a lovely poster of Charan and Kiara Advani from a song has been released yesterday. Today, another striking pose of Charan flaunting his toned physique with tattoo is out to impress audience. Though the routine teaser and trailer couldn’t add to the buzz, the impressive posters have managed to create the much needed hype for this commercial entertainer ahead of its grand release on January 11th.Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is produced by DVV Danayya.

Lion will not hunt daily, Trivikram’s allegory on Charan
Maatala Maantrikudu Trivikram gave an interesting speech at pre-release function of Vinaya Vidheya Rama movie. He was one of the chief guests at the function.
Trivikram told, he liked the title very much, Rama was indeed humble towards his mother, and modest towards his father, he said. But he was also very ferocious at his enemies, he added. Then he spoke very high about Chiranjeevi and called him the last matinee idol because now most of the theatres turned multiplexes.He went on to say, it is difficult to talk about Telugu cinema or even south Indian cinema without mentioning Chiranjeevi. He told, Chiranjeevi influenced him a lot during his college days. He added, a story in a magazine that said Chiranjeevi was highest paid actor in India, strongly inspired him into movies.
Later he spoke very high about Charan’s Rangasthalam movie and told the movie changed thought process of many film makers. He finally told an allegory and said, usually Lion wont go for hunting every day like other animals. It hunts only once in a 10-12 days span when it feels very hungry. But that hunting will be very ‘solid’ and the left-overs of his meal will suffice for small animals like fox etc for several days, he added. He compared this allegory with Ram Charan’s movies as he is not doing any and every movie and being very cautious about his stories and movies.
Trivikram’s magical words brought cheer to the masses and satisfaction to the class audience.
VVR will be gang-leader like mass entertainer: Chiranjeevi
Mega star Chiranjeevi, chief guest at Vinaya Vidheya Rama (VVR) pre-release function, told this movie will be a mass entertainer like Gang leader. He was confident that this is the right movie after rustic and raw Rangasthalam.
Chianjeevi spoke very high about another chief guest KTR and called him his bench-mate, It is to be noted that both were elected as MLAs for the first time in 2009 and both were bench-mates at assembly in united AP. Chiru recalled those days and told, KTR always looked very soft and humble in assembly those days like Vinaya Vidheya Rama. But, Chiranjeevi added, he is not only soft but also very ferocious for his opponents as was seen during recent Telangana elections. He also called KTR is daring-dashing and dynamic leader.
Chiranjeevi thanked audience for accepting him after a long gap of 9 years and giving him stupendous success like Khaidhi 150. Then he talked about VVR. He revealed that after family drama of Govindhudu Andarivade, contemporary thriller like Dhruva, and rustic and raw entertainer Rangasthalam, it was the conscious decision of him and Charan to do a mass entertainer. Then, almost at the same time Boyapati narrated this subject, which was liked by both Chiranjeevi and Charan. Chiranjeevi told, in this movie Ram Charan will be doing the role of a protector and savoir of the family similar to his role in Gang leader. Chiranjeevi added, other than this, there are no other similarities between the stories of Gang leader and VVR.
He finally hoped, this movie will be definitely a good commercial entertainer to watch during the festive season of Pongal.
Ram Charan is better speaker than me, he may come into politics: KTR
TRS working president KTR was chief guest at pre-release function of Vinaya Vidheya Ram movie. As everyone knows, he shares good rapport with Ram Charan. While speaking, KTR made some light-hearted comments about Ram Charan and told he may come into politics in future.
Earlier Ram Charan spoke at length about the film, about the artistes and technicians working for this film. But at some point, audience were shouting Pawan’s name and Ram Charan gave a pause to his speech and told them he will definitely speak about Pawan at the end. But with this digression, he forgot his speech and paused a few seconds before coming back to the topic he wanted to speak. However, he later spoke at length about everything he wanted to speak, including about Pawan.
When KTR took over later, he appreciated Ram Charan for his speech. He told, Ram Charan’s speeches are better than their election speeches and then on lighter-vein told, may be Ram Charan also come into politics in future. Through out the speech he called Ram charan as brother and reminded that he attended Dhruva audio function at the same venue earlier. He also told, Ram Charan’s performance in Rangasthalam was outstanding and reminded that, during elections, he used Rangasthalam’s song (Aa gattununtavaa, ee gattununtava) extensively without permission of Ram Charan and Devi Sri Prasad.
Anyway KTR’s presence at audio function delighted mega fans.
Every hero should work with Boyapati at least once: Ram Charan
Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is all set to release for next pongal. Hero Ram Charan praised showers on his director Boyapati during the pre-release function.
Ram Charan told, in his entire career, Boyapati’s was the most disciplined set. He added, everything in his set is very orderly and well planned. He also told, Boyapati designed this character for him specially and he almost worked for 4 years on this subject. Ram Charan told, every hero should work with such disciplined director at least once in their career. He added, whenever he talks with Boyapati, he feels very much energized and even his mother and wife recognize ‘josh’ in his behavior and ask him whether he just had a chat with Boyapati
Before Ram Charan’s speech, Boyapati also spoke high about Ram Charan and KTR. He drew lines comparing both of them and told both are ‘Vinaya Vidheya Ramas’. He also compared both of them for their heritage and told a typical Boyapati dialogue ‘ Varasatvam anedi asamarthudiki baruvu, kaanee adE vaarastvam samarthudiki bhadyata’ .
We will have to wait until Pongal’2019 to see whether their combination works out at Box office.

The theatrical trailer of Ram Charan’s much awaited Sankranthi release Vinaya Vidheya Rama is finally out and it glimpses a typical Boyapati mark commercial potboiler that offers another mass treat for audience.
An extension of the teaser, the two minute trailer is a packed with high octane action sequences, intense dialogues and family drama. A confident looking Charan is playing a full length mass role in this film. He brandishes heavy duty swords in fight episodes and mouths mass dialogues very often. The production values are rich and the action scenes shot in Azerbaijan are likely to be the major highlight of the film. Vivek Oberoi is a stylish villain. DSP’s bgm is not so impressive as it appears bland.
Going by the trailer, it is clear that Boyapati is once again coming up with a typical mass entertainer laced with family drama. All in all, it is going to be Charan’s mass show in Boyapati’s trademark style.
