    Vinaya Vidheya Rama is an upcoming family entertainer starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also stars Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in a pivotal role.

    The album begins on a typical note with Thandaane Thandaane and sung in neat vigor by MLR Karthikeyan. While the prelude violin attempts to bring rustic flavor to the song, it takes the familiar route of chord progression which is usually seen in DSP’s songs. Shreemani’s lyrics just fit the bill adequately and has nothing new to offer exclusively. The song also has the traces of DSP’s earlier hit numbers like Pandagala Digivachadu in Prabhas starrer Mirchi. The usage of ghatam however stands out well.

    Thassadiyya is a regular styled DSP dance number with additional techno beats. Jaspreet Jasz does his usual by giving power packed vocals and M.M.Mansi gives her peppy vocals. However, the song lacks thump or vigor to bring the party mood on. The interludes blend through the song in a high voltage fashion.

    The party mood strives to retain with Ek Baar which is sung by DSP himself accompanied by the peppy singer Ranina Reddy. Once again, the song doesn’t attempt to be different or try out new experiments in the rhythm section. The song follows the regular template of DSP’s usual dance numbers like Something Something in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. In fact,the chord progression sounds very familiar and has the been-there-heard-that feel.

    Rama Loves Seetha aims to keep the energy going and sung by talented vocalists Priya Hemesh and Simha. While the song is well put together, there is nothing significant which appeals to the listener in terms of orchestration. The beats though continuous sound very muffled and loses track in between. Srimani’s lyrics have a mild mass appeal which fail to make an impact.

    The finale arrives on a mellowed note with Amma Nanna- a sentimental number which has good usage of violin and acoustic guitar. Kaala Bhairava does a commendable job for this soothing number. The bass guitar is pronounced enough to make a good impact. Rama Jogayya Sastry’s lyrics stand out quite well explaining about the family bonding and relationships.

    Verdict:

    Vinaya Vidheya Rama is a passable album from DSP which doesn’t live up to the expectations of a Ram Charan flick.

    The makers of Ram Charan’s forthcoming action entertainer Vinaya Vidheya Rama are hoping that the theatrical trailer will generate a solid buzz in audience. A grand pre release event is going to be held in Hyderabad today and the trailer will be unveiled by Chiranjeevi and KTR at 9 o clock in the evening.

    Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, is carrying lukewarm response in trade circles due to the underwhelming teaser and ordinary songs from DSP. So, all eyes are on the theatrical trailer which is expected to high on mass elements. Sources revealed that Boyapati Srinu has readied a high octane action packed trailer that will raise the expectations on the film to a new level.

    Other Sankranthi releases have been already grabbed the eyeballs, but VVR is lagging behind due to low promotions and not-so-exciting content.     With 2018 coming to an end, Tollywood is all set to witness a bunch of biggies next year. Here are some of the big budget Telugu films that will hit the screens in 2019:

    NTR: Nandamuri Balakrishna is reprising the role of his father NTR on screen. Krish is the director and the film is made in two parts NTR – Kathanayakudu and NTR – Mahanayakudu. The instalments will release in January and February 2019. Made on a massive budget, Balakrishna himself produced NTR. The film’s expectations crossed skies after the theatrical trailer has been out. The film’s estimated budget is said to be Rs 70 crores.

    Vinaya Vidheya Rama: After an earth shattering hit like Rangasthalam, Ram Charan targetted Sankranthi with his mass outing Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Boyapati Sreenu is the director and Mega fans are eagerly waiting for the film. Bankrolled by DVV Danayya, Vinaya Vidheya Rama is made on a budget of Rs 80 crores.

    Maharshi: Superstar Mahesh Babu will test his luck during summer 2019 with Maharshi, an emotional drama that reveals about friendship and relations. Vamshi Paidipally is the director and Pooja Hegde is the heroine. The shoot of Maharshi will be wrapped up by February 2019 and the makers announced that Maharshi will release on April 5th 2019. The estimated budget of Maharshi is said to be Rs 90 crores.

    Saaho: After Baahubali franchise, Prabhas turned busy with Saaho, a big budget stylish action drama that is under shoot. Sujeeth is the director and the film is expected to be made on a lavish budget of Rs 200 crores. The film gets a wide release across the country in all the languages. UV Creations announced that Saaho will treat the audience on August 15th 2019.

    Syeraa: Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Syeraa is based on the life story of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The film’s release date is yet to be announced and it may hit the screens during the end of next year or during early 2020. The film is expected to be made on a budget of Rs 200 crores. Ram Charan is producing this big budget periodic drama.

    Allu Arjun’s Next: Stylish Star Allu Arjun is on a break and is in talks with Trivikram Srinivas for a romantic drama. If things are finalized, the regular shoot will commence from February 2019 and will hit the screens during Dasara. Haarika and Hassine Creations will produce this film.

    It is a known fact that renowned and successful production house UV Creations snapped the theatrical rights in Telugu states for a stunning price( 72 Crores). They are planning a grand release in AP and TG. Usually, UV Creations take utmost care for films they distribute. They ensure that their films get wide release with maximum locations and good screen count. They are known for marketing films quite aggressively. All recent films presented by them viz Mahanubhavudu, Taxiwaala etc set the cash registers ringing.

    So, trade circles are hoping that the association of UV Creations will create strong buzz for Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Will they continue the success streak with VVR ? We should wait till Sankranthi.

    Ram Charan teamed up with Boyapati Srinu for the first time in his career. The film titled as Vinaya Vidheya Rama created a lot of buzz at the time of announcement. As Ram Charan delivered the career biggest hit with his previous outing Rangasthalam, the hype has doubled as the shooting progressed. However, the buzz on the film has subsided after the teaser and the two songs were released.

    The teaser, which is power-packed and left fans mesmerized, couldn’t excite general audience and trade circles. Devi Sri Prasad was supposed to lift the mood with his chartbuster tunes. But, the two songs that have been released so far didn’t stand out as they garnered lukewarm response due to the routine rendition. What started as a crazy combination is now receiving very little attention from buyers in all areas. Also, VVR is going to compete with two other big ticket films NTR biopic and F2. Both these films are creating good waves in audience.

    So, it is now up to the trailer of Vinaya Vidheya Rama to gain the much needed momentum ahead of the film’s release. Boyapati Srinu and his team should come up with a solid cut that will create a strong buzz on the film. The rest of album should also be DSP’s best work to further the hype.

    Actor Ram Charan is going to have a hectic schedule in December. He is now busy shooting for an action sequence in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming multi-starrer RRR. After wrapping up his portion on December 7th, Charan will head to Sabarimala to complete his Swamy Deeksha.

    Sukumar’s Rangasthalam has put Ram Charan into the elite $ 3.5 M club in overseas. Before Rangasthalam release, Charan had mediocre market in overseas and his highest grossing film at that time was Dhruva which collected close to $ 1.5 Million. Sukumar is one of the fewest directors who created a brand for himself in overseas. So, his strong market and craze among overseas audience have helped Rangasthalam bigtime. The teasers and trailers have also added to the buzz before the film’s release. All this came in handy and Charan scored a non Baahubali hit there.

    Now, he teamed up with action entertainers specialist filmmaker Boyapati Srinu for a full length mass drama titled as Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Boyapati has a poor track record in overseas as all his films failed to collect decent revenues there. For instance, Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu which emerged as a blockbuster at domestic box office couldn’t attract overseas audience and ended as a huge flop there. So, Boyapati’s dismal graph will be a liability for Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Proving this, the overseas rights were bagged for a low price. The teaser too hinted that the film is fully loaded with Boyapati’s trademark elements.

    Mass films usually doesn’t excite overseas audience much. Recently, NTR’s Aravindha Sametha, which has a lot of violence, couldn’t perform as per trade expectations after getting decent reviews and despite having Trivikram at the helm. So, Vinaya Vidheya Rama will be a real test for Ram Charan’s box office stamina in overseas. Trade circles are waiting to see if Charan can pull overseas crowds without star director’s brand.

    Ram Charan and Boyapati Sreenu are all set to thrill the audience with an out and out mass entertainer. The film has been titled Vinaya Vidheya Rama and the film’s teaser has been released today. As expected the teaser has been packed with huge dose of action drama. Ram Charan has been spotted trashing a bunch of goons like every Boyapati Sreenu’s protagonist.

    Vinaya Vidheya Rama teaser will be a treat for Mega fans as they got a chance to see Ram Charan in a mass avatar after a while. Lavish visuals and the stunning background score makes the teaser look grand. Charan looks energetic in the assignment and Vinaya Vidheya Rama is currently in final stages of shoot. Kiara Advani is the heroine and DSP is composing the tunes. Bankrolled by DVV Danayya, Vinaya Vidheya Rama will release during Sankranthi 2019.

    The Hindi dubbing rights of Ram Charan’s upcoming film with Boyapati Srinu were snapped for a whopping 22 Crores which is the highest for a Telugu film in recent times. The film, titled as Vinaya Vidheya Rama, is billed as a mass commercial potboiler with good dose of action and emotion. As masala entertainers are finding good traction with Hindi audience these days, distributors have shelled out a handsome price for this film.

    Also, the makers of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Maharshi have closed a hefty deal with a noted North India distributor. Reportedly, the Hindi dubbing rights of Maharshi were sold for 20 Crores. NTR’s latest release Aravindha Sametha also piqued the interest of Hindi distributors as the dubbing rights were bagged for 18 Crores. As Trivikram’s previous film ended as huge disaster, distributors were reluctant to offer beyond 18 Crores and the deal was closed recently.

    In terms of Hindi market, Ram Charan is clearly ahead of Mahesh Babu and NTR. While Vinaya Vidheya Rama will hit the screens for Sankranthi, Maharshi is slated for release in Summer.

    The first look of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Vinaya Vidheya Rama is out on the eve of Diwali. The poster has Charan in a fiery avatar and the look bears Boyapati Srinu’s stamp to the fullest for its mass appeal. But, there is nothing much to rave about Charan’s makeover for this film.

    The typical mass poster has evoked a mixed response from fans and audience. After an impressive outing with Rangasthalam, everyone expected another striking makeover from Charan. There have been reports from close sources that Boyapati Srinu has locked a stunning traditional avatar of Ram Charan as the first look of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. However, the last minute change in Boyapati’s plans has come as a little disappointment for Mega fans. Many felt that the title and the first look poster are not appropriate.

    It is learnt that the makers are now planning to unveil the traditional look of Ram Charan very soon as a surprise for fans. Meanwhile, the first teaser of the film will be out in a couple of days. We have to wait and see what Boyapati has in store with the teaser.
