Telugu biopic Mahanati, based on the real life of yesteryear star Savitri, is pulling in superb revenues at overseas box office in its first weekend. Despite opening on Tuesday, the film embarked on a sensational start with more than half million dollar haul on its first day including premiers.
Due to the encouraging web reviews and unanimous positive reports from audience, Mahanati notched up strong figures on Thursday and Friday to take the tally close to one million mark.
On Saturday, the Nag Aswhin directional is having a terrific show at overseas box office with the day’s total around $ 350K as of this writing. The film has now surpassed the $ 1.25 M mark and it has already emerged as one of the top 5 grossers of Tollywood this year in overseas.
