From artists to technical crew, Mythri Movie Makers have roped in the best names in South for NTR’s Janatha Garage. Renowned cinematographer Thirru is one interesting addition to the technical department of this highly anticipated action drama. A former assistant to PC Sreeram, Thirru worked close to 25 films and the most recent one is Suriya’s sci-fi thriller, 24. He bagged huge appreciation for his spectacular cinematography in 24 and his immense knowledge has come in handy for Janatha Garage as well.
Reportedly, Thirru’s visuals in Janatha Garage will offer a big treat for the audience. It is learnt that special camera and lighting equipment has been used for this film and the makers have spent a fortune to make it a grand visual affair on the screen. Already, the scintillating posters, visuals in songs and some shots in the trailer hinted that the cinematography will be one of the major highlights for the film. Confirming the same, close sources to the unit revealed that both NTR and Koratala Siva are impressed with Thirru’s work.
Some important scenes were shot in the rich locales of Mumbai and also a song was shot in Kerala. The scenes featuring these locations are going to please the audience for their impressive visuals snapped with Thirru’s lens. Also,it is heard that the camera work for scenes involving the ‘Garage’ has come out exceedingly well.
Janatha Garage is fast finishing its production activities and is gearing up to hit the screens on September 1st.
