Director Vamshi Paidipalli, who bagged a much needed success with the emotional tale Oopiri, is yet to commence his next film. He was in talks to direct Akhil’s second film, but the plans didn’t work due to various reasons. Although Akhil announced that the project wasn’t shelved, there was no update regarding its progress. In the meantime, Vamshi Paidipalli bagged a golden opportunity to direct Mahesh Babu.
Reportedly, he narrated a line to Mahesh Babu recently and got the go ahead signal. It is learnt that he is currently working on the script. Mahesh is gearing up to commence shooting for his next project in the direction of Murugadoss. This project might take nearly an year for completion and Mahesh Babu has already given dates to Puri Jagannadh and Koratala Siva. So, Vamshi’s project might take atleast two to three years to go on floors. But, it is heard that Vamshi Paidipalli is ready for a long wait to direct Mahesh Babu.
