YSR Congress Leader P Gautam Reddy has been suspended by party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy following his controversial remarks on Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga and other party leaders. Jagan discussed the issue with party leaders on and ordered the YSRCP disciplinary committee to submit a report on the entire fiasco.
Gautam who is the YSRCP Krishna district in charge in an interview reportedly said that the future of the politicians who work under the sleuth of rowdism will be death, even if they are on a hunger strike.
Following the incident, Mogalrajapuram witnessed high tension with police detaining Vangaveeti Radha and Ratnakamari as a precautionary measure to avoid any law and order problem. The followers of Vangaveeti family staged a protest at Ibrahimpatnam police station. The duo staged protest in the police station itself while the followers tried to get inside the place. The situation was tense at the police station and soon they were released.
Distancing itself from the scandalous comments by Gautam, YSRCP issued a statement that the party doesn’t endorse the remarks and they are purely personal in nature.
