Young and aspiring Sandeep Vanga is making his directorial debut with Arjun Reddy which has been in news ever since the theatrical trailer of the film has been out. Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey played the lead roles in this new age love story and the film’s director revealed that it is an urban film which has been narrated in a realistic way. The director sounded quite confident about Arjun Reddy and he revealed some interesting updates about the film:
“The film has the mix of right emotions. I signed Vijay Devarakonda even before the release of Pelli Choopulu. Many said that I was wasting my money but Vijay Devarakonda owned the character of Arjun Reddy. He nailed it completely in style and one will clearly feel it in the trailer. I narrated this script to many friends of mine and they wanted me to move to Mumbai rather than directing a Telugu film”.
“I always wanted to make a Telugu film. Many others have been confident on the film. Arjun Reddy is made on my home banner and I felt that I should produce this film. I am a graduate in physiotheraphy but Arjun Reddy is not my story. I completed my filmmaking course in Australia and I am here to direct Telugu movies”.
Arjun Reddy is gearing up for a wide release on August 25th all over. Bhadrakali Films produced the movie and Radhan composed the tunes.
