Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently on a career high with a hat-trick of blockbuster hits. He will soon join hands with legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao for a devotional film which is based on Hathiram Baba – a saint follower of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. The pre production work is going on at present and Raghavendra Rao is busy finalizing the cast and crew for the film.
Already Anushka and Pragya Jaiswal have been roped in to play crucial roles in the film. According to the fresh reports, Vimala Raman, who appeared in a handful of Telugu films, has been approached for a prominent role in the film. It is learnt that she jumped on the opportunity after hearing the script. She is currently busy shooting for a Malayalam film which stars Mohan Lal in the lead.
Tentatively titled as Om Namo Venkatesha, the film will be bankrolled by Mahesh Reddy . MM Keeravani will render the tunes.
