First Chief Minister of Telangana State K Chandrasekhar Rao is fulfilling his vows, but not with his hard-earned money, at the cost of public money. There is much hype from some media outlets that KCR is fulfilling his vows as if spending money from his own pockets.

But this claim of news reports proved wrong. According to the Telangana government, total of Rs 3.6 crore was spent on offering 3.7 kgs gold to Badrakali temple in Warangal by the Chief Minister on Sunday.

It seems that the money for another vows of KCR are likely to be fulfilled at the expense of public exchequer. So far, the Telangana govt spent Rs 5.59 crore for fulfilling the vows.

Several vows are still unfulfilled by KCR in Lord Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati and to deity Padmavathi in Tiruchanur and Kanaka Durga Goddess in Vijayawada. All the money is likely go from the government. Meanwhile, the State government is mum on the money being spent to temple as offerings.

Even there was no clarity on the much hyped Chandi Yagam which was performed by KCR at his farmland in Erravelli, Medak district in 2015. There was criticism that KCR spent public money. However, the Chief Minister do away saying that his friends too helped him by donating money for the Yagam.
