When young director Nag Ashwin announced the biopic on legendary yesteryear actress Savitri, a lot of anticipation surrounded the project and everyone is quite inquisitive about the different characters that will be seen in the film. The director has spring a huge surprise when he roped in Keerthy Suresh for the titular role. The project grew bigger when Samantha and few other prominent artists were brought on board for crucial roles.
It is well known that legendary Telugu actors NTR and ANR shared good companionship with Savitri and it will be of no surprise that the biopic will definitely showcase the rapport shared between the trio. So, who will be roped in to reprise the roles of NTR and ANR. While there has been no hint from the makers yet on these crucial roles, an interesting buzz is now making rounds in the media circles.
It is rumoured that NTR is likely to be approached to reprise the role of his grandfather in Savitri biopic. Producer Swapna Dutt and NTR are good friends and there won’t be much surprise if he is approached. But, will he give the nod to be a part of this prestigious project ? We have to wait and see.
