Prior to the election, Jaganmohan Reddy assured to create all opportunities for his party leaders to recover several times more than what they would have to spend to win the polls. But, now he is talking about cleanest government with absolute zero corruption. The biggest shock is a total crackdown CM proposed on sand mafia. In fact, YCP leaders put lot of hopes on sand reaches to make lot of quick and easy money. Now, they are left shocked at the sincere efforts being made by their leader to supply sand at much cheaper rates through government agencies by eliminating middlemen and mafia.
Will the YCP leaders take Jagan’s strict policy positively? They are left with no options obviously. They walked with him in marathon Padayatra. They praised him to the skies for Navaratnalu massive welfare schemes. Now, the Jagan Reddy government is dependent heavily on huge revenue that could be generated from sand sales. This could be possible only when Jagan eliminates mafia and prevents middlemen from walking away with all the sand money. Will his party men understand? Only time will tell.
