IYR asks if sharing political satires is criminal mistake?

Brahmin Corporation Chairman IYR KrishnaRao wanted to know what worst can happen if a he shares political satires against the ruling party on social media. The answer from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is being sacked from the chairmanship.

Speaking at a press conference after the government removed him as chairman of the Brahmin Corporation, IYR conveyed that he did neither got a call from the Chief Minister nor the CMO seeking an explanation or informing about his termination. The Former Chief Secretary said that he was unable to get Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s appointment from the last six months.

Recalling the arrest of social media satirist Inturi Ravikiran, IYR said that it is unjust to file criminal case just for a political satire. He noted that all those anti-TDP shares on his Facebook were done when Ravikiran was arrested and said that the government is unable to take even a satire on them. The retired IAS officer pointed fingers at MPs Kesineni Nani and J C Diwakar Reddy who speak recklessly about many things and create turmoil.

He cleared the air that is not going to sing praises for TDP. IYR said that in Andhra Pradesh people are deprived of facts. He said Vaartha used to be an unbiased paper, however now there is no such media house to convey truth to the public. The former CS advised the media to concentrate on delivering actualities to people.

He asserted that he stands by his views on tax exemption for Gautami Putra Satakarani and allowing more shows of Baahubali2. IYR rubbished the allegations of working for the benefit of YSRCP beneficiaries and held that Brahmin beneficiaries are not associated with parties. He emphasized that his aim was to run the Brahmin Corporation properly. He held that TDP district coordinators responsible if YSRCP MLA’s are getting information regarding the meetings of corporation. If TDP coordinators are giving information to YCP, he said people should understand what’s going on in TDP

IYR said that he requested the chairmanship and has never done deceitful things. The former CS said he did not draw remuneration being chairman of the Brahmin Corporation. He cleared the air that he has no intention to participate in the direct elections. IYR said that he is not disgruntled with the decision of government to sack him and hoped that the responsibility will be given to a reliable person.
