Guv angry over education system in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana and AP Governor ESL Narasimhan on Friday regretted over the plight of education system in Telangana. He was speaking during the inauguration of ‘Skill development’ programmes organised by Telangana Jagruthi.

The Governor expressed his concern over the way how the education has becoming commercial now days without the reach of common man. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should pull up his socks in overhauling the system and bring in some reforms in the State, he added.

With a view to making the youth ready for the industry, Telangana Jagrathu organised a skill development programmes in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Telangana Jagruthi founder K. Kavitha inaugurated the programme.

The Governor said that the skill development programmes should be inserted as an integral part of in the education. It is unfortunate that engineering graduates are living life by doing some petty jobs, he remarked.

Stating that the Centre’s ambitious programme of ‘Make in India’ would not be possible without ‘Skill development’ programmes, Narasimhan stressed the need for bringing awareness in the society.

It may be recalled that Governor made such passionate appeal when he addressed dentists during the inaugural of a two-day Digital Dental International Conference 2016, just a week ago. He urged the dentists to come with ways in making the dental care affordable to the common man.
