He is on a break from the past six months and on the eve of his birthday, the news about his next film is out. Aamir Khan will play the lead role in the remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump.
Aamir Khan acquired the remake rights of the film from Paramount Pictures some time ago. Aamir Khan’s close friend and his personal manager Advait Chandan will direct the project. The film is titled Lal Singh Chaddha and Aamir plays a Sikh in the remake. The actor is all set to play an athlete in the film and will lose 20 kgs for the assignment. The regular shoot starts this September and the film will release next year. Aamir Khan Productions in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures will bankroll the project.
