Actress Namitha, who made debut to Tollywood with the film Gemini, today joined BJP in the presence of JP Nadda. Details as below.
Namitha made debut into movies in the year 2002 with Venkatesh starrer Gemini. After a couple of movies in Tollywood, that could not bring her stardom, she moved to the Tamil industry and she got stardom there. There were instances when her fans in Tamil Nadu built a temple for her. Later she joined AIADMK in the presence of Jayalalitha. However, after the untimely death of Jayalalitha, she is not actively involved in politics.
Now she joined BJP in the presence of JP Nadda, one of the prominent leaders of BJP. We have to wait and see whether she will get any key position in Tamil Nadu BJP or she will just play a passive role there.
