Agnyaathavaasi USA distributors LATELUGU had shocked the trade when they decided to premiere their prestigious film in more than 500 screens across USA – highest ever in Indian films (in USA) history.This massive 500+ screens release for power star pawan kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi is by far bigger than Dangal, Baahubali-2 and Sultan like highest stake movies. This film has collected a gross of $1.52M from 514 screens from it’s Tuesday premieres. Now let us dig into how this strategy has worked out.

If the movie were to be a Blockbuster this strategy might have been helpful. As all regular screens were full in advance for night shows, had this film generated hit talk from noon shows, all the repeat audience fans, new audience would have thronged to these additional screens for night shows. But as movie has no encouraging talk looks like this wide release costed them huge expense. Thus, the calculated risk has been failed to hit the bull’s-eye.
