Akkineni Akhil, the third generation handsome lad from the illustrious Akkineni family, made his silver screen debut with the recently released mass entertainer Akhil. The film, which released amidst unprecedented hype and hysteria, failed to live up to the expectations of the audience and tanked heavily at the box office. Despite the promising performance from the youngster, the film failed to make an impact at the box office. The routine plot and the substandard narration were the major reasons for the film’s failure.
Now, the entire industry and the audience are waiting to see on how the young hero reacts to the failure and what efforts will he put in to make a good comeback with his next outing. Speculations are rife about his second film and a couple of popular directors names are being heard for his second film. It was rumoured that he will either team up with Krish or Vikram Kumar. Reacting on the ongoing speculations, Akhil posted in Twitter that he hasn’t signed any film and added that patience is what needed to overcome tough times. Reports close to Akhil revealed that he is not in a hurry and is taking his own time before signing the dotted line for the next project. It is learnt that Nagarjuna will thoroughly involve in the script selection for Akhil’s upcoming films.
