It had become a ritual of sorts that Ali and Suma would anchor the CineMAA awards function every year.
We always saw them set the stage on fire with their quickwitted banter and humorous plays which they put up every year.
Well, this year we did see Ali’s funny videos but then, he wasn’t anchoring the show along with Suma. It was Sunil who took his place instead and guess what the reason behind this was the recent furore over Ali and lewd comments at an audio launch which didn’t go down well with a lot of people. And Sunil who was once the highest paid comedian has been on a low for a while and this became a good chance for him to steal the show. Simply put, Ali’s loss became Sunil’s gain.
