Nandamuri Balakrishna , MLA from Hindupur, described the day a historic one. He said the new capital city Amaravati would get a international reputation soon under the leadership of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. The successor state will also flourish economically as the united Andhra Pradesh did under the leadership of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. He addressed the huge gathering at Amaravati, before the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Ground Zero’. Balakrishna specifically referred to the large hardheartedness of farmers who came forward to offer their lands to the development of Amaravati.
