Amavasya Effect: Karnataka CM avoids official programmes

The Chief Minister of Karnataka State Mr. H.D.Kumaraswamy, who believes Astrology and Muhurthams, has on Monday and Tuesday avoided key meetings including official programmes by spending time at home.

The CM had to finalize JD(S) Party’s candidate of Ramanagara assembly segment on Monday for upcoming bi-elections, but, due to the Amavasya day, he did not organize any meeting. Meanwhile, the CM had to attend Deendayal birth anniversary programme in which Vice President of India Mr. M.Venkaiah Naidu and Governor Vajubhai Vala took part. The CM had also avoided following protocol as he had to receive the Vice President at Airport. Sources from the JD(S) told ‘Telugu360’ that Kumara Swamy’s family performs special pujas on every Amavasya and this time the pujas, which began on Monday, were continued till Tuesday afternoon.
