Annapurna International School of Film and Media is India’s first private,film school, non-profit media school founded by the Akkineni family.
AISFM offers courses in acting, directing, cinematography, editing, writing and producing. The Academic Advisory Board for the school includes filmmakers, actors and directors such as Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Hema Malini, Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi and Aparna Sen.
It is know recognized as ‘Times Education Icon’ under Times Educational Excellence awards.
The award is received by Sumanth, actor, grand son of Akkeneni Nageswara Rao.
