Vijayawada: BJP criticised that under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh became a drug state where liquor and Ganja are freely available. The revenue from the liquor sales have been increasing on a daily basis as per the official reports of the government, observed BJP AP General Secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy while addressing at a press conference at party headquarters in Vijayawada on Monday. He alleged that the AP became a supplier of Ganja to many states in the country.

The BJP state party demanded to implement the ban on liquor as promised by the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy criticised that the AP government increased the liquor sales in the last three years, instead banning it in the State in a phased manner. He reacted to the criticism of the YSRCP leaders including Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh on Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur.

He questioned why the AP Government failed in constructing and distributing the houses for the poor, even after the central government released funds for the houses to the State.

He blamed that the YSRCP government made the AP as debt Andhra.

Lambasting the State government, Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that, “AP Government is constructing Masjids and Churches with the public money for vote bank politics. On the other hand, looting the money from the Hindu temples”.

The BJP leaders said that, “There is a land, sand, wine, mine government in Andhra Pradesh”.

AP became a drug supplier to many states and the government itself was destroying thousands of tons of Ganja, he added.
