It was a long journey for Mrunal Thakur in films before she made it big in Telugu cinema. She made her debut with serials in 2012 and it was in 2018, Mrunal made her debut in Hindi films. Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 brought her recognition but she could not do hit films in Hindi. It was Telugu film Sita Ramam in 2022 that changed her career. After delivering flops in Hindi again, Mrunal Thakur was appreciated as Yashna in Nani’s Hi Nanna.

The actress hiked her fee and she is in demand in Telugu. But Mrunal Thakur kept doing Hindi films which did not make an impact. Her recent Hindi film Son of Sardaar 2 featuring Ajay Devgn is a huge disappointment. Mrunal Thakur is shooting for Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit and Allu Arjun’s film directed by Atlee. She has a couple of Hindi movies which are in shooting mode. The debacle of Son of Sardaar 2 has closed doors for Mrunal Thakur in Hindi cinema. She has no big films in her line up. But Mrunal Thakur has a good number of opportunities in Telugu and she has to bounce back with Allu Arjun’s film which is a crucial one to her career.
