Chandrababu Naidu begins witch-hunt on Pawan Kalyan

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is at it again. He had not given permission to any party in the last four years to hold protests. He did not allow the parties to hold protest for the prime demand of the state, special category status in the post-bifurcation. He wanted everyone to hold any sort of protest in Delhi and not in Andhra Pradesh. Now, he does a volte-face and holds protests in the State, with the Government becoming his Telugu Desam Party’s propaganda agency.

Now with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan going hard against Chandrababu Naidu in the Uttarandhra tour, he began his witch-hunt. The Visakhapatnam police have delayed giving permission for the Jana Sena chief’s tour in Araku area for the past three days. As permissions have not come yet, Pawan Kalyan is taking rest in a resort and three days have gone from his calendar.

The Jana Sena had been crying foul of the police partisan attitude since he began his tour in the region. The government did not provide police security for him. The police did not care for his tour, particularly in traffic diversion and regulation, as required. This had put him in big trouble in Srikakulam. He was denied permission to go on two-day fast too in Srikakulam district where he had to hold the fast in his resorts on the first day and allowed to sit in fast in the government college grounds only on the second day.

Pawan Kalyan is targeting Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh attributing corruption cases much to the discomfort of the TDP boss. Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan is hitting the TDP leadership harder than Jaganmohan Reddy these days, which prompts Chandrababu Naidu to use police to deny or delay permissions for the Jana Sena chief’s programmes.

As Chandrababu Naidu had his official programmes in Uttarandhra the other day, the police did not allow Pawan Kalyan to be on the roads for the past three days. “As the Chief Minister’s programmes in North Andhra are completed now, we are expecting the police to clear our leader’s tour today or tomorrow,” asserted a Jana Sena leader.
