Director Puri Jagan built a swanky office for himself in Jubilee Hills a while ago. Named ‘Cave’, the place is renowned for its employees’ easy going attitude and a generally relaxed atmosphere.
But Puri’s staff were in for a shock when a few months ago, he asked every single one of them to leave, except for one cashier. The move was unexpected and all technical teams were disbanded completely.
These technicians easily found jobs in various production houses in the Industry and Puri brought in newcomers and youngsters to replace them. Everyone expected things to be bright and rosy.
But according to the latest reports, the situation is quite bad. Apparently, none of the employees Puri brought in have any knowledge or judgement about making a feature film. The situation in the office is said to be quite chaotic and Puri is reportedly feeling bad about it.
Some of the actors who are close to Puri have reportedly reached out to some of Puri’s old staff, in a bid to convince them to return. But who will give up cozy new jobs to come back to a place that treated them without respect? Perhaps, if some of them do come back, it will only be out of love for cinema.
