The 2019 election is being held in one phase for all 175 assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats on Arpil 11. Moreover it is the first phase. BJP is non existent in AP but still it has greatly targetted TDP. In Delhi, YCP is making daily complaints against TDP to the Election Commission of India. ECI officials are patiently listening to them. But the same treatment is not being given to the TDP leaders. TDP says it has become a daily ritual for BJP leaders meeting ECI after YCP and making same complaints against TDP.
With such coordination, YCP and BJP leaders are working to demolish TDP in AP. Jupudi Prabhakar, Chairman, SC Welfare Corporation, said that the Election Commission of India has become an agent of the BJP, TRS and YCP parties without least bothering about its duty to conduct election in an unbiased manner. Doubts were raised on the functioning of ECI over its biased approach in the BJP-ruled states and also supporting BJP friendly parties like YCP.
Mr. Prabhakar expressed concern that even the ECI has become a victim of Modi’s dictatorial regime just like the way the other national institutions like the CBI, ED and RBI which were crushed with an iron hand.
