BJP AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana has accused TDP and CM Chandrababu Naidu of launching a misinformation campaign against Modi government in the name of actor Shivaji’s leaks and ‘Operation Garuda’. He said that both writer and director for Garuda lies was none other than Chandrababu.
Lakshminarayana addressed party legal cell convention in Guntur city. He asked party activists to come out with plans on how to proceed legally against TDP over the misinformation campaigns. He said untruths and lies were being spread against Prime Minister Modi leadership without any scruples.
Lakshminarayana is apparently upset over Garuda allegations. BJP’s image has got a thorough beating because of this. Its Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao’s attacks have not helped BJP in effectively countering TDP. BJP is now left with no immediate ideas on how to corner Chandrababu.
BJP leaders obviously hoped for a crisis after Jagan’s big show in Vizag airport attack. TDP successfully outsmarted Jagan and ensured law and order in the state by launching an immediate information campaign on ‘fake charges’ levelled by YCP leaders for President’s Rule in AP.
Left with no other choice, BJP is now targetting TDP by considering legal options over Garuda. Politically speaking, this will not help BJP in any way except further keeping Shivaji’s leaks refreshed in public memory again and again.
