The biopic of ace badminton player and coach Pullela Gopichand is on cards from some time. Praveen Sattaru will direct this prestigious project and he has been doing intense research on the veteran badminton coach’s life who trained out some top badminton players of this generation. Young actor Sudheer Babu has been roped in to play Pullela Gopichand in the film.
Praveen Sattaru and his team felt that Gopichand’s life had several achievements and his life story cannot be narrated in a single part. The makers decided to make the film in two parts and the preparations are on. Fox Star Studios and Abundantia Entertainment will produce this biopic which will be made on a massive budget. The film will be shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
