While most of our filmmakers are vying for the remake rights of various hit movies in other regional languages, some of the Telugu films are generating huge buzz in other territories. Nani’s recently released suspense drama,Gentleman, which is having a decent run in both the Telugu states is drawing huge attention among the Tamil and Kannada filmmakers.
Reportedly, there is a huge demand for the remake rights of Gentleman. It is learnt that the suspense elements in the film are a big draw and the Tamil and Kannada producers are ready to grab the rights for a fancy price. Talks are currently on and the deal might be closed very soon. The makers have made decent profits before the film’s release and the satellite rights along with the remake rights are going to be an additional bonus for them.
The Mohan Krishna Indraganti directional has Nivedha Thomas and Surabhi as the female leads.
