For some people, admitting to poverty is just impossible. They put up a show for the benefit of the public. But for some, the opposite is true. They don’t have any qualms in admitting that they are poor. But there is another group that does it for strategic reasons.
We have now come to understand that Pawan Kalyan belongs to the third category. If you have been following the news keenly, you would have read the statement put out by Pawan Kalyan about how he was finding it tough to meet monthly expenses.
While some expressed surprise and sympathy for Pawan, many others remarked that Pawan was bluffing them. But there seems to be a strategic reason for this statement. Pawan Kalyan and his friend Sharath Maraar realised that the film would end up bringing huge losses for distributors. When a similar situation came up in Tamil Nadu for ‘Lingaa’, distributors sat in a Dharna opposite Rajinikanth’s house, to seek refunds.
Pawan seems to have anticipated this situation and to contain it before it even arises, Pawan and his team seem to have come up with this strategy. Obviously, when a man tells you that he is struggling to meet monthly expenses, why will you go and ask him for crores in repayment?
