Jagan attacker a Veerabhimani?

The knife attack on Jaganmohan Reddy has created a sensation in Telugu States. The miscreant responsible for the attack is taken into custody and is being questioned. He is identified as one Janepalli Srinivasa Rao belonging to Tanayalanka village in Mummidivaram mandal of East Godavari district.

Srinivas is a waiter working at a restaurant in Vizag airport. Restaurant owner Harshavardhan says that they were surprised at the incident as Srinivas was a diehard fan of Jagan with no criminal background and no instance of mental ill-health.

After Jagan arrived at VIP lounge around noon, waiter Srinivas served him tea and later at 2.30 p.m., he served Jagan coffee. Afterwards, Srinivas asked for a selfie and held his phone with his left hand but suddenly took out the knife with his right hand to strike Jagan. Gunmen and CISF staff caught the server and handed him over to the police.

DGP RP Thakur told media that the guilty attacker was a fan of Jagan himself who resorted to the attack for the sake of publicity and attention, and further details were being investigated. He said all steps were being taken for the maximum security of VIPs in AP and Jagan’s security will also be increased if he makes any request. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is responsible for all security in Airport and they should come out with details of how the knife could be carried into the airport premises.

Restaurant owner Harshavardhan said there were strong security arrangements in the hotel and no server is allowed to misuse even phones also. To prove that Srinivas is a Veerabhimani of Jagan, photos of flexis used during last Sankranthi appeared in social media.
