Jaguar marks the costliest debut of any South Indian actor till date. Happened to be the grandson of Ex Prime Minister HD Devegowda’s grandson and Karnataka’s Ex Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s son, Nikhil’s debut movie has been made on a massive budget of Rs 75 crores. The makers have alloted hefty amount to promote the film which has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada languages. A Mahadev directed the film and Deepti Sati is the female lead in the film.
With huge competition among the news channels in Telugu, they invite stars and interview them for free before the film’s release. However all the Telugu news channels have been charging premium amounts to promote the film and telecast the interviews of Nikhil. When a certain amount has been paid for publicity, these news channels interview the lead cast for free however now the Telugu news channels have been charging Rs 4 lakhs for interview for this film. Kumaraswamy’s money has become a feast for Telugu news channels.
