The election fever has started, and politicians are finding the ‘right home’ for their secure future. In less than 24 hours, the statements made by TDP MLA (and Minister) Kalva Srinivasulu have turned out to be true. Pulivendhula brothers left the YSRCP party and joined the TDP. What’s more shocking is that the Pulivendhula brothers; Srinath Reddy and Narayana Reddy, have strong relations with the YSR family right from the times of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Both of them joined the TDP in the presence of BTech Ravi and Satish Reddy. The latest development is the result of months of lobbying by the local TDP leaders, in order to strengthen TDP’s hold in Pulivendhula, which is often regarded as YSRCP fortress.
Speaking to the media, the Pulivendhula brothers said, ‘we have expressed our dissatisfaction and disagreement over party’s policies and decisions they take. We thought about this for a long time, and only then we have come to this conclusion’.
Meanwhile, the TDP leaders are celebrating terming this as a ‘moral victory’ over YS Jagan and YSRCP party.
