Padma Shri Kamal Haasan wrapped up the shoot of Vishwaroopam 2 long ago however the post-production work of the film has been delayed due to financial hurdles. The movie is the sequel for 2013 super hit movie Vishwaroopam which has been directed by Kamal Haasan. The film is said to be a spy thriller which discusses about global terrorism. Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea and Sekhar Kapur played the lead roles in the movie.
After a long delay, the post-production work of the movie resumed back. The sound design work is progressing in Los Angeles. The dubbing and sound mixing is currently under process. Music composer Ghibran is supervising the post-production formalities. Kamal Haasan and Aascar Ravichandran are jointly producing Vishwaroopam 2 which may hit the screens this year.
