‘Why Katappa Killed Baahubali’ is the most sought after question among movie goers since the release of Baahubali. The suspense will be revealed on this 28th when the much awaited sequel, Baahubali 2 hits the screens.
As the film gears up for a wide release all over India, Kannada groups are threatening to stall the film’s release following the controversial speech of Satya Raj during cauvery row. Reports suggest that nearly 200 pro Kannada groups led by Vatal Nagaraj are demanding a public apology from Satya Raj. Nagaraj, in a recent media interaction, said that they are not against the film, but they are opposing the scathing comments made by Satya Raj, who played the crucial Katappa character in the film.
Several groups and the president of Karnataka Film Chamber are in full support to Nagaraj. They made it clear that the release of Baahubali 2 will not happen unless Satya Raj apologies to Kannada people.
It remains to be seen how Satya Raj and Baahubali team responds on this issue.
