Samantha as Jamuna in Mahanati

Keerthy Suresh, who is currently acting in Agnathavasi movie with Pawan, is also playing the role of Savithri in Maha Nati, boipic on yesteryear actress Savitri.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie includes huge casting. Mohan Babu (SVR role), Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Shalini Pandey and Dulquer Salman (Gemini Ganeshan) , director Krish (veteran director KV Reddy), young director Tharun Bhascker (veteran director Singeetham Sreenivas Rao) will be seen essaying crucial roles in the movie .

Makers have not revealed whose roles some of these actors are reprising. But recently Keerthy Suresh had let the cat out of the bag when she revealed that Samantha is reprising the role of legendary actress Jamuna, who is a very thick friend of Savitri. It is known fact that both of them together acted in several movie. We have to wait and see what makers have to say about this.
