Ken Karunaas’ upcoming film Youth has generated good buzz in Tamil, thanks to chartbuster songs composed by GV Prakash and an impressive trailer. Now, today.makers unveiled the Telugu trailer and it presents a vibrant glimpse into college life, capturing the fun, chaos, and nostalgia of Praveen and his gang as they step into their junior intermediate days.
From Freshers’ Day celebrations and dances to campus romances and clashes with seniors, it packs in lively and relatable moments. Praveen, a middle-class student at Mother Mary Junior College, is caught between his mother’s dream of him becoming a collector and his own carefree mindset, which is more focused on love than studies.
As he tries to win over one girl, he is surprisingly pursued by three, leading to intriguing twists about who truly loves him and whom he chooses. Alongside the youthful fun, the trailer hints at emotional layers about parental expectations and self-realization.
Ken Karunaas impresses with his energetic performance, while the engaging cut and the closing glimpse of “Kalakatta Panesina Choosuko” from Raghavendra add appeal. GV Prakash Kumar’s music further elevates the overall experience, giving the trailer a lively and entertaining feel.
The film is set to release in Telugu on March 26th. The Telugu theatrical release will be handled by Housefull Vineeth and Sandeep under the E2C Talkies banner. Written and directed by Ken Karunaas and his gang, the film marks his debut as a lead actor.
The film also stars Devadarshini, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anishma Anilkumar of Sirai fame, Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh, among others. On the technical front, the film has music by GV Prakash. It also includes cinematographer Viki and editor Nash. The film is produced by Karuppiah C Ram and Sulochana Kumar under their banners Paarvathaa Entertainments and Street Boy Studios, respectively.
