Despite staying away from the silversceen for nearly a decade, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s crowd pulling capacity hasn’t dwindled. His comeback film Khaidi No 150 , though a remake, set the cash registers ringing with record breaking openings in all areas. The VV Vinayak directional joined the 50 Crores club in no time and has surpassed the lifetime collections of many top grossing films in just a week. By the end of second week, the film has emerged as the second highest grossing film in Tollywood beating Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu.
Khaidi No 150 is continuing its strong run in the third week in all areas. With no big ticket films slated till Suriya’s Singam 3, Khaidi No 150 will be aiming to enter the 100 Crore club, a feat which has not been achieved by any other film apart from Baahubali. The film has already touched the 90 Crore mark and is inching towards the magic figure.
Chiranjeevi’s impressive screen presence and the entertainment factor worked in favor of the film big time. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack. Ram Charan produced the film.
